Köb Holzheizsysteme GmbH
Köb Holzheizsysteme GmbH has been part of the Viessmann Group since 2007. Through this acquisition, the Köb product range brought biomass boilers of 35 - 1250 kW to the existing Viessmann range of small biomass boilers, which includes the Vitolig/Vitoligno range with 4 - 48 kW. The Viessmann Group offers products for the range above 1250 kW through Mawera Holzfeuerungsanlagen Gesellschaft mbH, also from Austria. With these two brands, Viessmann further extends its position in the "renewables from biomass" sector. Their integration into the Viessmann Group family company means we can offer our customers a comprehensive range of efficient and low-polluting heating systems for oil and gas, as well as solar thermal systems, heating systems for sustainable raw materials, and heat pumps.

Köb product portfolio
The "PYROT rotation combustion" – a low particle combustion system for pellets and woodchips with international patent protection – received the Austrian innovation award in 1998. In addition, Köb Holzheizsysteme GmbH offers an attractive range of smaller special boilers for logs and dual mode heating (woodchips or pellets, automatic in combination with logs in the output range 35 - 170 kW). To complement these boilers and the comprehensive range of systems, a metal mesh filter has also been available since 2008 for the output range 100 - 540 kW.
